Truckmount - Should you Buy One?

So your carpet cleaning in Seattle business is picking up? (No pun intended) you may have decided it is time to up your game a little bit. But where to start? Snappy uniforms? Synchronized dancing? Free spot removal?

I would like to start off by strongly suggesting you not involve your employees in synchronized dancing, it seems silly if done right away and if done after a good job can just end up rubbing more dirt and grime back into the carpet. Also people will think you are weird.

You have probably seen your competitors boasting their new powerful truck mounted system. They are shiny, large, and look expensive. Well lets not kid each other – they are expensive. But are they worth it?

The answer to that really depends on how many jobs you are doing and what kind of jobs. Portable extraction units are usually more than sufficient for apartments and small to medium sized homes but who wants to have to worry about running out of hot water on a larger job?

Truckmount units can be a god-send on bigger jobs – since they can up both the temperature and PSI, making jobs look better and last longer.

Even on smaller jobs they tend to get things looking slightly more clean, although this largely depends on the quality of the carpet and the kind of portable extractor you are using. The Rotovac CFX for example is an excellent unit and while it doesn’t itself provide heat, can tackle most small to mid sized jobs with little to no extra help.
